As many of you know, Pantone is the color company that we all live by for everything from designers putting together their collections to interior designer choices for a favorite room in our homes.  It’s the forecast that we all wait for each season to see what Pantone has to say is The Color of the Season, the one most widely used color by the creative world.  Well, here it is and the color is Emerald Green.

I have personally always loved it as a fave of mine as I am a May-baby and that is my birthstone. I must say I have been given more than my share of emerald trinkets.  However, it was not until Angelina Jolie wore those amazing Bvlgari emerald earrings as her only touch of color to the Academy Awards a few year back that many of us, myself included, began to see this strong, powerful color as a great pop for accessories and as any other strong color sensation before it (red, orange, cobalt) has grown into head-to-toe status for the people that love to wear color.
