There is a designer brand that if you are a follower of either that brand, LILITH, or of Lisa Spain’s Cotton Club, a trendy chic boutique who calls San Felipe (wedged between Relish and Ouisies, two of my fave eateries) her home for the last 8 years, you are one of the “enlightened followers.” However, both have been around much longer and this year LILITH is celebrating its 20^th anniversary by opening a very exclusive shop only in Houston’s Cotton Club.

In case you are not familiar, LILITH is a brand originated in North Eastern France, founded by Lily Barreth and carried for many years, exclusively at Cotton Club, and has established quite a following here in Houston.

The reason this partnership between LIILITH and Cotton Club has been so harmonious for all of these years is that they are very similar. They are both unique in their looks, their goals to encourage creativity and individuality in styling a woman’s wardrobe, and they are both run by women for women.

This LILITH shop, located inside the Cotton Club doors is the only one in Texas, and only one of the three in the U.S…with NYC and San Francisco as their other chic choices.  They cannot be found in department stores, but only in the approximately 70 specialty stores that they sell throughout the country.

If you did notice that it did open in time for FNO and can be special ordered from its Look Book at any time, a drop by this week for the Spring/Summer 2013 Trunk Show on October 4, 5 & 6 is a must!  You can then browse the 200 styles of lifestyle sportswear, take in the luxurious fabrics and details, and put together an outfit that is all about YOU.  This is also a collection where a little can go a long way, and just a single piece can add a new level of style to an existing outfit.
