Hi, this is Leigh Ann Haney and I’m an intern here at The Chic Sheet. As Roz was away in New York for Fashion Week, Michelle Ukegbu and I covered Fashion’s Night Out here in Houston. There were so many exciting events being held all over town that it was almost difficult to choose, but we narrowed our sights on the Galleria and saw as much as we could.
Houston definitely showed up for another gorgeous Fashion’s Night Out full of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and Fall fashion fun. First, we stopped by the early Macy’s runway show with recognition to local design students and the Little Black Dress Designer Project. Next we popped into Saks to find a party in full swing complete with everything from a photo booth to custom t-shirts. Then we dashed over to a show at Neiman Marcus featuring breathtaking dresses by Catherine Deane (who was even in attendance herself).
After passing some seriously chic people gathered at the Houston Tidbits event, we arrived at the main event of our night. If you had never been to the Galleria before you might not have ever realized the the huge runway was actually set up over the ice rink. The show featured Fall fashion that is perfect for the Houston crowd with luxury designers Fendi, Max Mara, Carolina Hererra, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Jimmy Choo and many more. The best of the Fall trends were accounted for: leather, prints, fur, deep reds, blues and greens.
I took a ton of photos through the night. Here are a few goodies I know you’ll enjoy…
